Tenacious on-baller Griffin Underwood is among six ACT players to be named in the All- Australian team.
The Belconnen Magpies midfielder, who also earned selection in 2008 – is joined by Ainslie trio Marcus Crook, Matthew Hearn and Ben Hughes; Eastlake captain Chad Gibson, and ACT skipper James Kavanagh.
Crook and Hearn were picked on opposite half-back flanks while Hughes occupies a forward pocket. Kavanagh was chosen at centre half-forward and also was named as vice-captain.
Gibson earned ruck duties, with Underwood named as ruck-rover.
Only Australian Country Football champions Victoria Major had a larger representation, winning eight nods.
In a one-sided final, the Victorians demolished South Australia by 85 points at Manuka Oval yesterday.
